Welcome to Stickers Trade!

Stickers Trade is a web application designed to help you manage your sticker collection, track your progress, and connect with other collectors. This guide will walk you through the basic features and help you get started.

Getting Started

System Requirements

Accessing the Application

  1. Open your web browser
  2. Navigate to https://stickerstrade.com
  3. You'll be directed to the home page where you can learn about the platform

Creating Your Account

  1. Click on the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner of the home page
  2. Fill in the registration form with your:
    • Full name
    • Email address
    • Password (minimum 8 characters)
  3. Click "Create Account"
  4. Check your email for a verification link and click it to activate your account
  5. Once verified, you can log in using your email and password

Managing Your Collection

Starting Your Collection

  1. After logging in, navigate to the "My Collection" page
  2. Select an album from the dropdown menu
  3. Browse through the available stickers in the album

Adding Stickers to Your Collection

  1. Click on a sticker to open its details
  2. Change the status to "Have" or "Need"
  3. If you have multiple copies, you can adjust the quantity
  4. Click "Save" to update your collection

Tracking Your Progress

  1. The collection dashboard shows your progress for each album
  2. You can see:
    • Total stickers in the album
    • Number of stickers you have
    • Number of stickers you need
    • Completion percentage

Finding Stickers

Searching for Stickers

  1. Use the search bar at the top of the collection page
  2. Enter sticker number, name, or description
  3. Results will update as you type

Filtering Your Collection

  1. Use the filter options on the left side of the collection page
  2. Filter by:
    • Album
    • Category
    • Status (Have/Need)
  3. Combine filters for more specific results

Trading with Others

Finding Trading Partners

  1. Navigate to the "Trading" section
  2. Browse through users who have stickers you need or who need stickers you have
  3. Click on a user to view their profile and collection

Initiating a Trade

  1. From a user's profile, click "Propose Trade"
  2. Select stickers you want from their collection
  3. Select stickers you're willing to trade from your collection
  4. Add a message and click "Send Trade Request"
  5. Wait for the user to accept, decline, or counter your offer

Managing Trade Requests

  1. Go to "Trades" to view incoming and outgoing trade requests
  2. For incoming requests (pending trades), you can:
    • Accept the trade
    • Reject the trade
  3. For outgoing requests (pending trades), you can:
    • Cancel the request
    • View the status

Completing a Trade

  1. Once a trade is accepted, both users need to physically exchange the stickers
  2. After exchanging stickers in person, both users must confirm the exchange:
    • Go to the "Active Trades" tab
    • Find the accepted trade
    • Click "Confirm Exchange" button
  3. The trade requires confirmation from both users:
    • When the first user confirms, the system records their confirmation
    • When the second user confirms, the trade is marked as completed
    • Your sticker collections are automatically updated
    • The trade moves to "Trade History"
Tip: Only confirm a trade after you have physically received the stickers from the other person. The confirmation is a two-step process to ensure both parties have completed the exchange.

Customizing Your Experience

Changing Theme

  1. Click on the theme toggle button in the navigation bar
  2. Choose between light and dark mode
  3. Your preference will be saved for future sessions

Language Settings

  1. Click on the language selector in the navigation bar
  2. Choose your preferred language
  3. The interface will update immediately

Profile Settings

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
  2. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
  3. Update your:
    • Profile picture
    • Display name
    • Contact information
    • Notification preferences
